Look what I got Link up: Black T-shirt

If you have ever read the my edit blog, you probably heard of Joe Fresh brand. And if you follow any department store news or randomly see things on twitter (which is usually my way) then you would have known that J.C. Penney is now carrying Joe Fresh. Anyways on with my point...

The other day I stopped by JCP to check out their new Joe Fresh section. I ended up buying two v neck t-shirts, one in black and other in white. You know when you find a white t and it's so thin you can see your whole hand through it, really who wants to wear. But that's not the case with the Joe Fresh shirts, they are thick and long and dare I say one of the best T-shirt I have found in a really long time!

As you can see it was very windy here in Seattle. It was raining on and off all day so I had take photos fast before it started to rain again. The weather also explains the layers and colors even though it's now officially spring.

Back to Basic

Over the weekend, my sister and I went on a mission to buy basics. Both of us made a list of all the things we needed like new jeans, bras, tank tops. You know all the boring stuff. No new spring trends for us.

This shopping trip was full of purpose and we were determined to stay on track. I'm happy to report we did. What are sisters for if not to talk you got of buying something you really don't need.

In other news, I'm loving my new boyfriend skinny jeans, I have worn them 3 times including today's outfit since buying them. They may not be the most flattering pair of pants but they're really comfy. I'm still wearing heels so I have not totally given in to comfort. I feel like that's an unspoken fashion blogger rule -boyfriend jean must be worn with heels. Or is that just me?

DIY Floral Spring Wreath

Spring is just around the corners and it seems to be the only thing on everyone's mind (myself included). So here is a super simple spring wreath.

Styrofoam Wreath
Fake Flower

I picked up 7 bunches of pink flowers at the dollar store. Each bunch had six stems on it, for a total of 42 flowers. I recommend getting flowers that have only one flower per stem. This makes it easier to stick the flowers in and eliminates the need for glue.

1. Cut each flower from its stem about an inch from the top. (This doesn't need to be perfectly measured, I just eyeball it.)

2. Once you have all your flowers cut, just stick them into the styroform. Making sure the flowers are pushed in as close to the wreath as possible. If you feel like your flowers aren't staying, use a drop of glue on each tip to help secure them. Fill in wreath until there are no gaps or white showing.

3.  Add ribbon to hang it and you're done.
